Somerset Mobility & Stairlifts is run and owned by Richard Slater, who has over 26 years experience in mobility aids, stairlifts, and mobility help. We pride ourselves on our ‘no pressure approach’ and ensure there is never any obligation to buy – this is our top priority.

Hello – my name is Richard. I am the director at Somerset Mobility & Stairlifts. I have been working in mobility shops since I left school back in 1995, working for my father who has been established since 1988. I worked for my father for 20 years and now, for myself, for the past six years. Over those 26 years I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in sales, repairing and servicing all types of mobility equipment and I’m still learning.
